Shipping & Return Policies
Shipping & return policies for small businesses are super important to protect both me and you, so please take the time to read this page before making a purchase!
Returns and Cancellations:
Unfortunately, I am unable to cancel or refund an order unless an item is damaged. Additionally, in these instances I will always replace if possible, and only issue a refund if a replacement isn't possible. Every order is extremely important to a small business, and more often than not any profit is reinvested back into the shop. This makes issuing refunds really difficult for me, so I would please encourage customers to only purchase if they're entirely sure they would like that item as I cannot issue refunds for a change of heart. Please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any queries or concerns regarding this policy.
I offer both standard and tracked shipping internationally. I would encourage all international customers to choose tracked shipping at checkout, and wish to make it perfectly clear that unless tracked shipping is selected there is very little I can do in the event of a package going missing. I cannot be held responsible for any missing untracked parcels once they have been dispatched, nor will I be required to process a refund for any lost packages. Tracked shipping is the best way to ensure the safe delivery or your order so please do choose this option if you can!
All domestic orders are shipped 1st Class.
Which Carrier Do I Use?
All parcels, both domestic and international, are shipped via Royal Mail.
I Changed My Mind and Want Tracked - What Do I Do?
It is not always possible to upgrade shipping after your order has been placed as I sometimes post orders the same day / day after your purchase. If I have not already posted your order I am willing to upgrade delivery. Please contact me via email at email@example.com to do so - please note that I do not check Instagram DMs during the day so email is the only way to contact me about this!
Changes to EU VAT - July 1st 2021
The way VAT is processed on packages to the EU will be changing on July 1st. This means that EU orders may be subject to a VAT charge upon reaching customs - the customer will be required to pay this upon arrival. All EU customers are welcome to continue shopping with me, however I wish to make it clear VAT is not part of the item price on my shop and therefore will not be paid by me. The same applies for any customers outside of the EU who are liable to pay VAT charges.
Below are the current standard VAT charges for EU countries so you can estimate potential charges:
